Sports car driver injured

A MOTORIST in an MG sports car suffered a fractured wrist and facial injuries in a smash with a lorry on the M1 motorway yesterday.
The driver was travelling northbound between junctions 36 and 37 at Hoyland and Dodworth when the collision occurred at around 1.40am.

Paramedics took the driver to Barnsley District General Hospital.
