Teen cyclist 'critical'

A TEENAGE cyclist is in a critical condition in hospital today after he collided with a parked car while riding his bike.
The 15-year-old suffered serious head injuries when he was thrown from his bike on Hinde House Lane, Grimesthorpe, after hitting a parked Ford Focus.

He was taken to the intensive care unit at Sheffield Children's Hospital where his condition is today described as "critical but stable".

The boy is reported to have been riding in the direction of Owler Lane when his white bike struck the black car at around 9.15pm yesterday.
