A RESEARCHER from The University of Sheffield has been awarded a prestigious prize awarded by the British Association of Cancer Research.
Dr Munitta Muthana, a senior post-doctoral researcher working in the Tumour Targeting Group at the university, will receive the Young Scientist Frank Rose Award at a major cancer conference in October.

Dr Muthana, aged 35, attracted interest when she and her colleagues published a new method for using tiny magnets to target therapy to tumours.

The award offers an opportunity to give a talk on her work at the National Cancer Research Institute Conference.
