A SHEFFIELD nursery has been highlighted as outstanding in a national Ofsted report on standards of early years education and care.
Dore's First Steps Nursery on Savage Lane is featured in the report as one of the best of its kind in the Yorkshire region.

Co-principal Margaret Peart said she was delighted with the recognition.

The report found more early years and childcare
settings are meeting requirements set by the Government than three years ago.

While less than 80 per cent of registered settings met national standards in 2005, now 97 per cent do.
