SHEFFIELD Hallam University has been shortlisted for two prestigious national PR industry awards for its internal communications.
Quarterly staff magazine Newview and fortnightly e-newsletter Eview are competing with some big names for a gold award at this year's Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Excellence Awards.

The awards, which recognise and reward best pra
ctice in public relations throughout the UK, received a record 853 entries across the 28 award categories.

Newview will compete in the Internal Newspaper or Magazine category, while Eview is up against some stiff competition in the e-Newsletters and Magazines category.

Newview is the official internal publication for all staff, including academics, and includes a mixture of news, profiles, research successes, event listings and sport.

It is designed and written entirely in-house by the Corporate Communications Team and Design Studio working together.

Eview is an online newsletter distributed to all 4,500 University staff once a fortnight by email and includes staff offers, competitions, networking routes and ads.
