What rights do grandparents have in relation to their grandchildren?
"Under the current law grandparents don't have any automatic rights in relations to their grandchildren," said Martin Loxley partner and head of the law firm Irwin Mitchell in Sheffield on his new podcast about grandparents' rights.

He continued:

"The basic position is that people who have got parental responsibility for a child are entitled to make decisions in respect of that child's upbringing, and in most circumstances grandparents are unlikely to have parental responsibilities."
