A sensational holiday period saw three of our clubs lead their respective divisions on Saturday night, only to lose their games on Monday and with it their top places.
However one local side did move up to the top, whilst tomorrow three of our clubs will be spurred on by the chance of winning £1,500 by coming through the FA Cup Preliminary Round.
Unibond League Division One South form team Stocksbridge Park came from two goals down to draw at Stamford last Saturday, thanks to late goals by Dean Sidebottom and Andy Ring.
Even better news followed on Monday when they routed previously unbeaten newcomers Glapwell 3-0 with Carl Fothertgill, Dean Sidebottom and an own goal taking them to the top of the table.

However they they could not sustain their form on Monday, crashing to a 2-1 defeat at Long Eaton United. A goal by substitute Chris Woods could not prevent their first reverse of the campaign as they slipped to fourth.
Tomorrow they visit Liversedge for another tough game, with the home side also losing on Saturday for the first time.
After their opening day defeat Parkgate have gone from strength to strength, with two more holiday wins taking them to fifth.
On Saturday a stunning hat-trick by Mark Caine gave them a 3-2 win at Nostell Miners Welfare whilst on Monday they beat Eccleshill United 6-0 with Luke Booker, Mark Caine and substitutes Ruben Wood and Keiran Gallagher, two, scoring their goals.
Tomorrow they have a cracking "derby" clash at Phoenix Park against Dinnington Town who are showing signs that they are coming to terms with their move up to the Premier Division.
Last Saturday they lost 1-0 at home to Armthorpe Welfare with three players being sent off including the Town pair Blythen and keeper Ciesielski.
But on Monday the tables were turned when Steve Toyne's players inflicted the first defeat of the season on reigning Premier Division champions Winterton Rangers.

On Saturday they won 4-2 at Eccleshill United with goals coming from Rob Brannagan, two, Greg Mason and Danny Pattertson. Then on Monday they came from behind to beat Brodsworth Welfare 3-1, two-goal Mark Wragg and Mason taking them up to eighth.
Tomorrow they are at home to Eccleshill United and on Wednesday they entertain Thackley.
In Division One Worsbrough Bridge made it four wins in a row when they beat Hemsworth Miners Welfare 2-1 with Lee Garside and the exciting 17-year-old Ryan Pleasants scoring their goals.
That took Bridge to the top of the table but on Monday with seven changes in their line up they crashed 7-1 at Bottesford Town with Steve Beevers scoring their consolation goal.
Tomorrow they visit Yorkshire Amateurs and on Monday they face a tough test at Leeds Carnegie.
