It has taken more than 25 years of research but the Sheffield United Football Club Who's Who is nearly ready for publishing.
The book will look back on key United players over the last 119 years including, Jimmy Hagan, Tony Currie, Tony Agana and Paddy Kenny.

Blades fans have been invited to become part of the publication by pre-ordering before August 31. Supporters who do will get their name printed in the books' Roll of Honour and be given two VIP tickets to the launch party on November 7.

The Who's Who will provide a glimpse into the club's glory and grief over the years, biographies on players, comments from contemporaries and covers their time after Bramall Lane. It also includes all 1083 players who have appeared in various league and cup competitions for the Blades, plus more than 500 other players who took part in friendly matches.

There are further sections for managers, directors and other staff members.

All pre-orders for £29.99 (plus P&P) must be received before August 31. Fans can also pre-order the book at the club's Open Day at the Lane on August 3, between 10am-3pm. To pre-order visit www.sufc-shop.co.uk or call 0871 663 24 89.
