BACK on form ... just in time for the Christmas and New Year break.
Perfect timing? Maybe, but there's no doubt the comprehensive 4-0 demolition of Formby was very well received after the recent wobbles.

Tristan Gilbody came close to scoring after just 10 seconds and although they continued to dominate it took them 39 minutes before Danny Berry finally broke the deadlock with a textbook goal via a penalty corner.
Ollie Lobo added a second after 53 minutes and shortly after Will Musgrave converted a penalty stroke. Seven minutes later Dafyyd Charles continued his fine scoring run with Hallam's fourth after a fine individual run by skipper Scott Sanderson.
The victory moved the Abbeydale side up to fifth in the North Conference table, one of five clubs separated by only four points, so there's still plenty to play for.
Hallam host Durham University on Sunday (2pm) in their last match before the two month mid-season break and they'll be looking to sign off in style. They enjoyed a 5-2 romp at Durham earlier in the campaign so who's for a repeat performance?
The second team completed their demolition of the North Div 2 East top sides with a slightly nervy 2-1 victory over Leeds Adel Carnegie at Abbeydale - their eighth straight victory.
Andy Hooton put them on their way with an second minute opener and Dave Meason added the all-important second early in the second half.
Hallam, who face a trip to new boys Huddersfield Dragons at Lockwood Park on Saturday, are now five points clear of the chasing pack after second placed Whitley Bay and Tynemouth's shock home defeat to Northumbria St Georges.
Two goals in the final 10 minutes from Jim Tasker and Tom Oldale earned the Thirds a 2-1 win against lowly LA Carnegie.
Storm force six for the Fourths who turned the tables on Wakefield Thirds in goal-happy style as they came from a goal down to run out 6-1 winners. Andy Richards, Chris Freeman, Dick Mobbs, Chris WIlkins, Will Lacey and Dan Salthouse were the six-hit sharp-shooters.
They travel to Yorks Div 2 bottom club Kingston-upon-Hull Thirds on Saturday.
A Mike Hindmarsh strike was all the fifth team had to show in their 2-1 defeat against Rotherham seconds but no such problems for the sixth team who trimmed Rotherham Fourths 4-0 with two goals from George Unwin and others from Waterworth and Battison.
A Sam Crowson double and one from James McClure brought the seventh team a 3-1 victory over Leeds Adel Carnegie Fifths while the Eights went down 4-0 against Brigg Fourths.
