Liana O'Sullivan and Amey Marpur played their own numbers game in the Sheffield Ladies' Amateur Golf Championship.
In an exciting final at Dore and Totley GC, 20-year-old Liana beat 15-year-old rising starlet Amey 4 & 3.

From being three holes down early on, Amey closed the gap to a single hole, but a birdie and relentless par golf from Stocksbridge-based Liana saw her take the title for a second time ... her first success came in 2007.

It was, however, an unwanted hat-trick for her young rival who finished runner-up for the third consecutive year.

Amey's time will surely come. She's joined the stable of talented juniors at Rotherham Golf Club and has already gained Yorkshire selection alongside specialised coaching with the England junior squad.
