It's transatlantic travel and no rest for four Sheffield Steelers lacrosse players, brothers Rhodri and Morgan Evans and Andy and Rob Hopkins.
Coming off the back of the World Under 19 Championships in Canada the Evans brothers barely had time to change bags before they joined up with the Wales senior training camp in Barry, South Wales to run through their match routines for the European S
enior Championships in Lahti, Finland from August 7 to 16, where they will be up against Steelers team-mates Mark Colton and Ben Lyon who will be in England colours.

Rob and Andy Hopkins, as coach, simply turned around and flew back out to Rhode Island, USA with the Steelers under 16 side to take on the might of New England lacrosse and compete in the Ocean State Tournament.
The Wales Under 19s confounded all their critics with excellent performances in the Red Division, coming joint second and only missing out on the crossover games by goal difference. Wales had a 5-2 record beating Bermuda and South Korea in the play-ins to be ranked ninth overall.

All four Steelers players were in the starting line-up Rob Hopkins, the youngest squad member, scored seven goals and had one assist in attack.
Morgan Evans scored five goals from midfield, including two against Bermuda to clinch ninth spot in the World rankings.

Wales's defence was the best in the Division, inspired by Rhodri Evans, who was rated the Red Division's stand-out defender and the only Wales player to make the Division's Honourable Mention Awards list.
Alongside him was Andy Hopkins who was man of the match when Wales gave Germany their hardest game just losing 7- 5. Wales beat favourites Scotland 9-8.
