Luton Shelton transfer to the Norwegian club Vålerenga has been confirmed.
According to the Jamaican international's new club website Shelton has already passed the medical tests.

"Luton Shelton has already passed the medical tests and we have agreed on his personal contract. Today the transfer was confirmed when we met Sheffield United and signed the transfer papers at Gardermoen," said Jan-Erik Aalbu, director of sport in Vålerenga Football to the website vif-fotball.no.

"Now it is only the visa application remaining before he can join the rest of the Vålerenga squad," he continued.

Shelton, who previously played for another Scandinavian club, Helsingborgs, has commanded a £1m fee while the five time Norwegian champions have also agreed to include a sell-on clause in the deal.

The Vålerenga website claims: "Luton Shelton probably will be one of Tippeligaen's fastest players".
