She became the first girl from Bradfield School to win a Sheffield Schools title in an any age group when she won the under-12s singles.

Stephanie defeated Holly Desouza of Notre Dame 17-15 15-13 in a thrilling final at Abbeydale Park and also finished runner-up in the doubles with fellow Bradfield pupil Terri Drayton. They were beaten 15-13, 9-15, 15-6 by Holly and her Notre Dame team-mate Anna Sutton-Jones.

Tapton's George Lee reached three finals but suffered defeat in two of them. He lost out to last year's runner- up James Farmer of King Ecgbert's in the singles and he and Jes Walker (Tapton) went down to Farmer and Jenny Stone (King Ecgbert's) in the mixed doubles. However, George won the boys doubles with Jamie Lewis (Tapton). They beat Jake Holmes and Adam West, the third year in succession that Ecclesall Junior School players have finished runners-up in this event.
