Great Britain international Lauren Thomas-Johnson has rejoined top of the table Sheffield Hatters but coach Vanessa Ellis believes there is still more to come from her side.
The return of Thomas-Johnson after a spell in Turkey is a boost to the Hatters ahead of this weekend’s Betty Codona Classic tournament in Nottingham.
And Ellis says it will be a chance for Sheffield to develop some consistency: “I can’t complain too much because we’re top of the league but we have been inconsistent from game-to-game and even within games.
“Helen (Naylor) and Steph (Gandy) have been great for us but we need it from more than just two or three at a time.
“When you play a tournament that is three games in three days then you can’t get away with just relying on two - you need everyone to step up for you.”
