Crosspool-based James won the Protest Slopestyle competition, a challenging course of obstacles over which riders must demonstrate their skills, and finished third place in the halfpipe competition.

The success completes a fantastic month for the 19-year-old who won Britain’s first ever medal at the prestigious Euro Winter X-Games in France when he bagged a bronze medal in the slopestyle competition.

Meanwhile Katie, who was the first ever female skier to take part in the Freeze festival in London last year, also took first place in the women’s slopestyle competition and third in the halfpipe.
