Cricket lovers will have the opportunity to see Yorkshire players from the past and present in a special charity Twenty20 match at Sheffield Collegiate Cricket Club later this year.

England and Sheffield opener Joe Root, Jonny Bairstow, Darren Gough, Dickie Bird, Darren Lehmann, Ryan Sidebottom, Brian Close, Ray Illingworth and Geoffrey Boycott are all set to attend the historic event on Monday September 2.

It was 150 years ago Yorkshire were formed at the Adelphi Hotel, Sheffield, and the event celebrates the anniversary. It will also raise funds for junior cricket development at Sheffield Collegiate Cricket Club.

Tickets are priced at £20 Adults; £10 Under 16s, OAPs & Concessions; Family tickets of 4 £45.
