Matt Fitzpatrick maintained his 100 per cent record of making cuts during his burgeoning professional career at the French Open.
The Sheffield golfer endured a difficult second round at Le Golf National, carding a three over par 74 in a round that featured six bogeys.
Fitzpatrick sits 11 shots behind leader Kevin Stadler on one over par for the tournament but remains in a promising position to nab a top ten finish would could secure qualification for The Open later this month.
The 19-year-old is only four shots off fourth place heading into the third round, for which he will tee off at 9.29am on Saturday.
Three qualification places for The Open are available from the French Open for the highest placed trio in top ten finishing positions who are yet to earn qualification.
