Sheffield United manager Nigel Adkins warned there will be “consequences” for his team after branding last night’s 4-2 defeat by Shrewsbury Town as “unacceptable.” And the former Southampton and Scunthorpe chief hinted he could wield the axe during January’s transfer window unless there is a marked improvement in results.
