Bjorn Helge Riise (hamstring) is out, but Ched Evans (knee) could feature.

Sheffield United assistant manager Alan Cork believes the Blades players are getting the reward for their hard work after helping manager Micky Adams break his duck against Nottingham Forest.

The midweek 2-1 win was Adams’ first in charge at Bramall Lane and Cork has backed the team to win their battle against relegation from the npower Championship.

United visit Watford and Cork knows the players have struggled to end the winless streak under Adams which had reached 13 games.

“It hasn’t been easy for the lads when they have worked hard for a couple of months or so for no reward, and when the pressure builds people feel it and tend to make the wrong decisions, maybe passing when they should be shooting or vice versa,” said Cork.

“But we got a couple of goals which will do wonders for them and they have broken the losing habit - let’s hope that it is the start of a winning one.

Watford defender Lloyd Doyley is set to return after missing the last five matches with a hamstring problem.

On-loan Manchester United youngster Danny Drinkwater has a thigh injury, so striker Troy Deeney will continue on the right of midfield.
