They came from behind late on to extend their unbeaten league run to five matches.
But what did Sheffield United supporters make of their dramatic, and at times controversial, 2-2 draw against Scunthorpe United at Glanford Park this afternoon?
On Facebook, Gareth Ede said: "Decent point against top of league and with ten men. That's 13 points from five games."
Hasan Talay said: "I'll take that. A point away to top of the league with 10 men that shows that we have the passion this year to go out and get results that we deserve.
"I'm liking this new team Blades, I think this could be a good year for us. Onwards and upwards."
Jeremy Brooke was similarly optimistic, adding: "Today was the day when the bubble could have burst. Instead we come away looking at a poor sending off as a reason for maybe not earning all three points.
"This squad now has depth, variety and appears to be resilient. With 37 games to go that's a good turn around from 5 games ago. Positivity creeping in anyone?"
Sonia Wilson had the last word, though, writing simply: "Nice to see some positivity for a change."
