Sheffield United take their inconsistent form to Boundary Park, aiming to build on last week's win over Rochdale at Bramall Lane.

Here are five things you might want to know about the fixture...

Drawing lots

While Oldham are struggling at the bottom end of the table, they haven't actually lost too many games this season. In fact, the Latics have been on the wrong end of a result less than the Blades (three to United's four). Oldham's problem is that they keep drawing, having shared the spoils no less than eight times this season. Incidentally, six of those eight draws have been 1-1.

Still Drawing lots

And the drawing theme continues. Five of the last six meetings between the two sides have ended up with both gaining a point apiece. Again, four of those five draws ended 1-1.

Baxter's bullet

Blades midfielder Jose Baxter will have plenty of memories relating to Oldham. The 23 year old spent a season at Boundary Park where he scored 15 goals, but it was against the Latics that one of his best strikes came... a 25 yard thunderbolt of a free kick to equalise for the Blades on Boxing Day 2013, at Bramall Lane

Seven-up

United biggest victory over Oldham came in the Zenith Data Systems Cup (ask your mum or dad, kids) in December 1990. The Blades ran out 7-2 winners at the Lane

Che sequence

Che Adams' season may have been a bit stop/start for one reason or another, but when the Blades youngster has been on target, United win. Adams scored both goals in the 2-0 win over Chesterfield; was on target in the JPT victory over Notts County and then followed that up with another brace last week against Rochdale.
