SHEFFIELD United have parted company with manager Micky Adams.
Following a meeting with the club’s plc chairman Kevin McCabe yesterday, United have dispensed with Adams’ services.
McCabe claimed it was an “amicable” parting of the ways,
It was just five months ago Adams was appointed to replace Gary Speed. A boyhood United supporter, the 49-year-old had to wait 14 matches for his first win in charge. His record reads W4 D5 L15.
United, who were relegated from the Championship last month, are now searching for their fourth boss in the space of 10 months.
Assistant manager Alan Cork has also left the club.
