Ryan Flynn will return to Sheffield United’s squad for today’s game against Barnsley, writes James Shield.
Nigel Clough confirmed the winger, who has missed two matches with an Achilles injury, completed training at the Redtooth Academy yesterday after receiving the all-clear from medical staff.
“Having Ryan back is good news,” Clough, the United manager, said. “He’s a good player and he gives us another option.
“Ryan has missed a couple because of the slight complaint that he’s had. But he’s joined in with the rest of the lads and has come through okay.”
However, Ben Davies is a doubt after being diagnosed with a foot problem.
