Harry Chapman will resume training with Sheffield United following tomorrow’s game against Bolton Wanderers, manager Chris Wilder has confirmed.
The on-loan winger returned to Middlesbrough for treatment in December after damaging an ankle in training but is scheduled to rejoin Bramall Lane’s first team squad on Monday.
Wilder, whose side visit Rochdale next weekend, said: “We have kept track of him, he has been down to a couple of games as well.”
Although Chapman has missed their last 13 games, Wilder insisted his decision to watch the League One leaders in action could prove crucial.
“He’s in contact with a few of the younger boys, it’s important he knows where we are at,” Wilder said. “It will be great when he comes back.”
