Rival managers will be wasting their time if they try and play mind games with Sheffield United, Chris Wilder has warned.

Although the 49-year-old is not adverse to indulging in a spot of pop psychology himself - reminding Scunthorpe before last weekend’s match at Bramall Lane they are expected to secure promotion - he insisted Bramall Lane’s first team squad has proved it is immune to similar tactics themselves.

“People talk about this club in this division and about how the pressure and the expectation has affected everybody,” Wilder said. “If it has, I’ve not seen it. It hasn’t affected anybody at all.”
