Sheffield United manager Chris Morgan revealed Barry Robson had been taken to hospital after sustaining a chest injury during last night’s League One play-off semi-final against Yeovil Town at Bramall Lane .
Substitute Callum McFadzean’s second-half goal ensured United visit Huish Park on Monday enjoying a slender 1-0 advantage.
But Morgan, admitting “the job is nowhere near done,” confirmed Robson is expected to miss the decisive leg of their double-header with Gary Johnson’s side.
“Barry has gone for a scan,” Morgan said. “He took a whack on his ribs (an elbow from Jamie McAllister) and couldn’t carry on.
“We’re not sure exactly what the problem is. We’ll just have to see how he is.”
Morgan added: “It’s a good result but there’s still a lot to do. We know we’ll have to be right at it down there.”
Johnson said: “We are with the big boys now and if we want to compete with them we’ll have to be better than that.
“I got a few things off my chest in the dressing room but we won’t be going out with a whimper.
“We’ll be right up for it at our place and United know that.
“If they are too then good luck to them.”
