Sheffield United 'dismantled' Bolton Wanderers after a clinical second-half performance at Bramall Lane, according to Blades boss Chris Wilder.

United led from the 13th minute when Billy Sharp put them ahead, before Sharp added a second from the penalty spot in the second half after Samir Carruthers was fouled.

And Wilder revealed: "We had a few words at half time, to calm ourselves down and in the second half, we dominated. That's how I saw it anyway.

"I saw it like that last week, too [when United drew 1-1 with Scunthorpe] and some might see it differently, but I'm not so sure 27,000 here today would.

"It was a deserved three points in the second half, we dismantled a decent side - who have a lot of good players - pretty comprehensively."
