FOLLOWING a pitch inspection, Chesterfield’s trip to Torquay United, scheduled for tomorrow, has been called off because of a waterlogged pitch.
Oxford United, meanwhile, will hold a pitch inspection at 10am tomorrow morning ahead of their League Two fixture with Rotherham United.
The pitch has been covered since Tuesday and there was no snow overnight at the Kassam Stadium. The surface is currently playable but there has been light snow this morning.
An Oxford spokesman told The Star: “The pitch has been covered and is flat and soft beneath. The unknown quantity is the snow that is forecast.”
