the Millers made the long haul to Plymouth pay off in with two goals for Gareth Evans and two for Adam Le Fondre, all this after the Millers trailed to Argyle’s first attack in the game four minutes into the second half.
Atkinson received the ball wide on the left, was allowed to come inside on his favourite right foot and from almost 20 yards struck a shot past Conrad Logan.
Logan could have been on for a goal assist in the first half when his long kick found Grabbanwho raced beyond the defence but hit his shot beyond the far post.
The Millers shrugged off going behind in style when Evans marked his full debut with the equaliser on 52 minutes, hitting an angled shot into the far conrer.
It was good Evans seven minutes later with another peach of a goal. Alf delivered with a cross from the right and Evans flew in to power a header home. With eight minutes victory was in the bag with Alf slotting home Schofield’s pass and Alf pounced again with a cheeky finish three minutes from time.
