On a busy night of Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup ties, Hallam made a shock first round exit going out 3-2 to a last minute goal against County Senior League leaders Oughtibridge at Sandygate Road.

Paul Lavender gave Hallam a 24th minute lead with his first goal of the season, lashing the ball home after a free-kick had been half cleared.

Oughtibridge hit back to equalise just after the half mark direct from a Matthew Spencer 30-yard free-kick that was curled over the wall. Then within a couple of minutes the Countrymen found themselves down to 10 men when midfielder Johnny Roper was sent off for a second yellow card offence.

Nevertheless Hallam regained the lead on 72 minutes through substitute Brad Sampson. With nine minute remaining Oughtibridge levelled through Strachan Samson. Then in the last minute full back Daniel Robinson grabbed the winner from close range.

Parkgate beat NCEL Division One Hemsworth MW 1-0 at Green Lane. Scott Lowe scored the goal curling in a 25-yard free-kick on 35 minutes to give the Steelmen a first win in 15 games.

Maltby Main twice came from behind to beat Central Midlands League side Kinsley Boys 4-2. Josh Stacey gave the hosts a 22-minute lead and although the Miners equalised through a George Conway close range effort, Kinsley rested their lead against the run of play in first half injury time through Sam Garforth.

However, Conway tucked away a Matt Bradley cross to restore parity and a minute later Maltby were in front for the first time when Callum Black scored at the far post before Danny Reilly nodded in the fourth.

Worksop Parramore thrashed Central Midlands League side Phoenix 12-1 in a game switched to Sandy Lane. Lee Whittington, Callum Ward and Richard Tootle all scored two along with efforts from Ryan Johnson Sam Smith Lee Thompson Nathan Forbes-Swindells, Jordan Eagers and Chasinga Nshindano, while Rossington Main beat Bentley Colliery 8-3 at home.
