OWLS defender Michael Morrison has become Charlton’s 11th signing of the summer.
The 23-year-old centre half has signed a three-year contract and teamed up again with Addicks boss Chris Powell, with whom he played at Leicester.
The fee is indisclosed but Wednesday are thought to be recouping much of the £250,000 that Morrison is believed to have cost them when he was signed from the Foxes in January.
Morrison was not in Gary Megson’s plans and was left out of the 18 for the last eight games of last season.
Charlton boss Powell said: “He’s a player I know I can trust. He’s already got 100 games behind him and I think he can do well for us. It’s great to have him on board.”
Megson earlier this week confirmed that Charlton were interested in the player.
