Atdhe Nuhiu believes that Wednesday can power their way to an upturn in their home form.
The striker sees an attacking policy as the way to overcome opposing teams - with the Owls having won only twice at Hillsborough this season.
Heading into today’s clash with Blackpool, he told The Star: “We have to go out and produce power play, and make ourselves and everyone happy.
“We have to get the ball in the box and create chances
“When you are always attacking, it’s maybe easier for the other team to get a counter-attack, but we have to play like this at home.
“We must not give opposition teams hope. We have to kill them; they have to come here thinking they’re not going to get anything.”
Nuhiu is also banking on the sort of team spirit that saw the Owls hit back for a point at Charlton: “You did see that we never give up. We always come back. It is something we have in the team that is very special.
“Sometimes it seems when you are down everything is against you. When you are up in the table, the ball goes in and you don’t know why.
“I think the reaction of the team is very good. We have to keep going like this. I am looking forward to getting quickly out of this situation.
“I think everybody can see the team spirit has changed massively. Everybody is working very hard for one another.”
The club have also been boosted by the extension of Connor Wickham’s loan to January 28 and Glenn Loovens’ signing for the rest of the season.
