Atdhe Nuhiu is backing Sheffield Wednesday to overturn their patchy early season form when the team returns to action after the international break.
The Owls face a tough away trip to Burnley on Saturday, coming off the back of a run that has rendered them winless in the league since the opening day.
However, striker Nuhiu believes there is enough quality in the team to make a push up the table, starting with their Turf Moor test.
“The competition we have now in the team now has never been as high in the two seasons I have been here,” he said.
“We have 15 new players and this can be a very good thing but also the misunderstanding can be there.
“I am an optimistic person and I am a positive person and I think if we can go again together and start sharp and on front then we can do something because the quality is there for sure.”
