On-loan strikers from Sheffield United and Wednesday were both on target on Saturday for current club Portsmouth against Carlisle.

Owls frontman Caolan Lavery scored his second goal since moving to the south coast, to equalise from close range on 66 minutes.

Then, two minutes later, Blades' Scottish forward Marc McNulty rifled home his first in a Pompey shirt to give his side the lead.

It looked as though three points would be taken on the very long trip home until Danny Grainger's superb leveler for Carlisle in injury time.

Both Lavery and McNulty are on loan at Fratton Park until January.

Portsmouth, under the guidance of former Chesterfield boss Paul Cook, are currently fifth in League Two.
