In a thrilling 3-3 Yorkshire derby, Barnsley opened the scoring at Leeds but gave away two penalties and then came from behind to level the score in the 82nd minute.
Doncaster Rovers had a Norwich own goal to thank for saving them from another defeat, as they drew 1-1 away.
League Two leaders Chesterfield continued their automatic promotion push with a 1-0 victory at Bradford.
