Rotherham United season-ticket sales have smashed through the 5,000 barrier already, the club have revealed.
That figure is up on last season’s total number, even though they don’t go on general sale until Monday.
There was a surge in sales after the club sealed promotion to The Championship by winning the League One Play-off Final at Wembley via a penalty shoot-out against Leyton Orient.
Meanwhile, manager Steve Evans is confident Kari Arnsason will sign a new deal with the club. Arnason has been away on Icelandic international duty but talks will now resume.
The Millers are also to talk again with representatives of Wes Thomas after the striker turned down their initial offer.
