ROTHERHAM United are going to have plenty of choice when they get round to choosing their new manager, chairman Tont Stewart has revealed.
Stewart said that in just over 24 hours they have already had more than 30 applicants expressing interest in following Andy Scott’s sacking on Monday.
“There are people both in a job and out of a job who have indicated they are interested,” said Stewart who watched the Millers beat Macclesfield 4-2 in their final night match at Don Valley Stadium before moving to a new stadium next season.
“There are no restrictions or barriers, young or old, except we want a successful manager.”
Among those watching last night was former Doncaster Rovers boss Dave Penney.
