Danny Willett produced an impressive return to action as the Sheffield golfer finished the first round of the Czech Masters in Prague, two shots off the lead.
Willett, who has been hampered by a recurring shoulder injury, hasn’t played since taking part in the USPGA Championships in Valhalla earlier this month, but showed little sign of rustiness as he carded a four under par 68.
The 26 year old shot nine birdies, three bogies and a double bogy (sixth) to take his place, tied third. Welshman Jamie Donaldson leads.
Meanwhile, Matt Fitzpatrick is six shots off the pace after a four under 68 in the second round of the Rolex Trophy in Geneva.
