It doesn’t get any tougher for Sheffield Hallam Ladies than Saturday’s clash against the ton-up goal machine known as Ben Rhydding.
The visitors have already been crowned North Premier Division champions courtesy of 18 wins out of 19. Seventh-placed Hallam will be keen to put on a show after their 4-0 win over Kendal.
Despite the disappointment of their last-gasp 2-1 defeat at Timperley 24 hours earlier - Ali Crewesmith got their goal - Hallam surged into a 2-0 half time lead courtesy of goals from Sandie Lockley and Caroline Barclay. Barclay added her second and her team’s third early in the second half but then Kendal came to life. However, Hallam had the final say with a goal by Kath Hughes.
