Apperknowle knocked up a useful 199 all out in Division One but Hollinsend Methodists got to the target off the very last ball with three wickets in hand (G Wright 57*).

Hollinsend head the table by three points from Holmesfield, who racked up 244-4 (D Ward 86, W Helliwell 62), against champions University Staff, who replied with 171-9 (L Darda 55).

Division Two table toppers Sheffield Civil Service scored 150-9 (S Wilson 46, C Higginbottom 4-29) against second placed Ashford in the Water. Dave Whitby’s 5-25 saw Ashford bowled out for 110.
