Guy Borrowdale netted himself a great eight for Sheffield Steelers Under-16s in their 14-2 demolition of WACS at Abbeydale.
The hitman opened the scoring in the first minute and continued the rampage with a brace in each quarter although it was Simon James who scored the pick of the goals with a dodge past one defender and a switch of stick from right to left hand before planting his shot in the far corner.
Lewis Ogle bagged a couple of goals early on and others came from Matt Moroney, George Dale and Will Hardy.
Meanwhile the Under-12s step up their bid for silverware when they take part in the National eight-a-side tournament at Malvern on Sunday.
With a place in the semi-finals of the North of England Trophy competition already secured the youngsters will doubtless be looking to the goal scoring exploits of Jamie Chambers who has already hit the 30 mark, along with 10-goal Matt Howorth in their quest for glory.
