Sheffield Hatters are two-thirds of the way towards securing another treble after winning the Division One Women’s league title - without even playing!
On Saturday, Nottingham Wildcats defeated Barking Abbey 61-55.
And with Abbey being the only team that could catch the unbeaten Hatters at the top of the table, that result meant the Westfield Health sponsored side had won their 18th league title. Earlier this year, Hatters secured the National Cup - for a remarkable fifth successive year.
On Saturday, they host Newham (NASSA) Stars at All Saints (2pm), and then on the Sunday they face Cardiff Archers at 3.45pm.
Hatters U18s, meanwhile, secured a National League play-off place on Saturday despite an 87-50 defeat at Bury Blue Devils. In the U16s, Eleanor Goodwin was the star of the show on Saturday and Sunday as Hatters recorded two convincing victories.
On Saturday, they beat Trafford away by a 103-48 scoreline, with Goodwin and Georgia Gayle both scoring 22 points.
And on Sunday, Goodwin returned a haul of 29 points as Hatters hammered Barrow Thorns 99-50. Gayle was close behind, scoring 24.
