Ryalls magic spell boosts Bradfield bid
Ryalls was in top form with the ball for Bradfield as the leaders, looking for a second successive title, maintained their advantage in the Ivan Priestley Under-17 division with victory over Caribbean.
He claimed 4-7 as Caribbean were rushed out for just 39 and despite 3-10 from Khurshid Bradfield triumphed by six wickets.
Whitley Hall moved up to second after C Palmer's unbeaten 52 inspired them to an eight-wicket victory over visitors Stocksbridge, who posted 115-5.
Sheffield United sit third as they dominated strugglers Shiregreen by eight wickets. Walker hit an unbeaten half-century for Shiregreen but Revill's 4-6 restricted them to 94-9 and United had no trouble in overhauling the target.
In the Leslie Fletcher Under-17 division, Norton Oakes saw off mid-table Hollinsend in a low-scoring clash to remain two points clear of Wickersley at the top.
Vessey's 4-15 saw Oakes dismissed for just 79 but the leaders weren't to be outdone and Lawson 3-7 and Keer 3-17 rushed out Hollinsend for 56.
Wickersley proved too strong for Treeton. Cooper's 53 not out and 33 from Green led them to 132-4 and Treeton could only make 88-7 in reply.
Third versus fifth produced a thrilling encounter at Abbeydale as Whiston beat Sheffield Collegiate by three runs. Taylor, 51 not out was top bat for Whiston as they totalled 107-1 and Collegiate lost late wickets to finish on 104-7.
Eckington eased past Parkhead by eight wickets to consolidate second place in the George Drabble Under-15 division. D Reynolds, 3-5 and H Smith, 3-17 got among the wickets as Parkhead were shot out for 64 and M Spence's unbeaten 27 closed the game out.
In the Charles Scholey Under-15 division, Whitley Hall secured a crucial win over nearest rivals Thorncliffe. J Martin top scored with an unbeaten 40 as Whitley set 111-4. Thatterton returned 3-24 as Thorncliffeclosed on 87-6.
A Jahangir's tremendous figures of 5-2 were the catalyst for Wickersley's win at Hollinsend. Wickersley made a reasonable 93-6 and then Jahangir stole the show as Hollinsend could only manage 63-9.
Whiston won at Anston to stay clear at the top of the Eric Dixon Under-15 division. Strickland's 33 and Everitt's 30 not out were the main contributors in Whiston's 119-2 but Anston fell 11 runs short.
