Coach Ben Wade, still smarting after a 19-0 defeat to Birmingham & Solihull knows Saturday’s task against Dudley Kingswinford won’t be easy. “It’s a difficult part of the season at the moment, we are playing teams that are at the wrong end of the table. Every game is a tough one, we are hoping to rectify the errors on Saturday and put in a solid performance against Dudley” he said.
Meanwhile, Doncaster has two teams enjoying the lofty position as league leaders in their divisions.
Phoenix are top of Yorks Div 2 with 14 wins from 16 and host Castleford this Saturday. Amateurs have a 100 per cent success rate from 10 games in Yorks Div 5.
Wheatley Hills, second in North East One should win at Keighley, while Sheffield have a tougher task at Northern.
In Div 1, Dinnington go to Bridlington and Wath are at Pontefract.
