The two youngest members of Sheffield Tae Kwon Do and the oldest have achieved their black belt dan grades at the TAGB at Bristol.

They are 60-year-old Maria Bridge and nine-year-olds Daisy Morris and Harry Bloor.

They were among 475 people to have graded over the weekend, following a minimum three-and-a-half years training. Maria only took up the sport at the age of 56 and Graham Churchhill 7th dan instructor at the club, said: “She has found it difficult at times but persevered and never gave up.”

Churchill founded Sheffield Sheffield Tae Kwon Do in January 1990 and has been teaching for 26 years.
