Ben Davies and Chris Porter have signed new contracts at Sheffield United, the Bramall Lane club confirmed this morning.
Davies, who enjoyed a successful loan spell at United last season, and Porter, who scored 11 goals last term, have both put pen to paper on one-year deals.
Davies, who worked with United manager Nigel Clough at Derby County, was out of contract at the iPro Stadium while Porter, who also played under the Blades boss in the Midlands, was offered fresh terms after his Bramall Lane deal expired last month.
“Chris and Ben are well known to the coaching staff and we’re delighted that they are on board for next season,” Clough said.
“Both contributed to our success last season and we hope they will do the same when we kick off the new campaign.”
