Championship strugglers Sheffield Wednesday have extended Matty Fryatt’s loan spell from Hull by another month.
The striker will now stay at Hillsborough until November 30. His initial one-month loan deal expired after Saturday’s South Yorkshire derby at Barnsley.
Fryatt has notched two goals in five appearances since joining the Owls, who have yet to win this season and are bottom of the second-tier of English football.
The 27-year-old has registered in Wednesday’s draws at Brighton and Hove Albion and Barnsley. He is available for their next four league matches with Reading, Derby County, Huddersfield Town and Blackpool.
