Hull have taken Matty Fryatt back after his loan stay with the Owls.

Wednesday were hoping to keep him for a third month, but Tigers boss Steve Bruce feels that a two-month Hillsborough spell was enough for the striker to sharpen his match fitness.

Fryatt is the Owls’ top scorer with four goals, all of which came in a five-game spell.

He made seven starts, and the first and last of his nine appearances came from the bench.

Wednesday have thanked him and wished him well.
