TIGERS owner Neil Machin has praised supporters after a surge of interest in season-ticket sales.
Machin, who returned to the UK at the weekend after his regular winter trip to Australia, is back behind his desk at the Owlerton office and staff have taken plenty of orders for tickets.
Incentives brought in for adults, including a token for drinks, raffle tickets and a reduction in car parking, have proved popular as well as the freezing of admission prices.
Said Machin: “I was pleasantly surprised when I got back to the office and the postbag was full. It’s very encouraging.
“That was within days of us making the announcement about season tickets after the successful conclusion of talks with our landlords, A&S Leisure, over a new rent agreement.
“It’s a fresh start for us and we need our new team to settle down quickly and for the weather to be on our side.”
