World squash champion Nick Matthew will begin his 2014 campaign at one of the sport’s most glamorous venues - New York City’s Grand Central Terminal.
The J.P.Morgan Tournament of Champions 2014 features all of the world’s top players with Matthew, aged 33, seeded third.
After winning his third world title in Manchester in November, Matthew then picked up his first Hong Kong Open crown in his final tournament of 2013 at the start of December.
The British Open, which takes place in Hull in May, will be top of Matthew’s New Year’s resolutions.
Considered one of the sport’s most prestigious titles the Hallamshire-based Matthew has won it three times - 2006, 2009 and 2012.
